As a young girl, I was active in sports but often labeled the "big" girl. At twelve, I joined a diet club with middle-aged women, struggling with weight issues. Despite playing high school basketball, poor nutrition knowledge led to health issues and ended my athletic dreams.
By graduation, I weighed 250 pounds and felt lost. I lost 90 pounds through the mid-90s "fat-free" craze, but my health suffered, continuing a cycle of yo-yo dieting for decades. Life's challenges, including gut issues, hormone imbalances and infertility, brought physical and mental struggles.
Through faith, self-discovery and countless hours of education, I learned to understand my body's needs and embraced mindful eating, balancing hormones, and addressing gut health and I want to help you do the same but without the decades of frustration and heartache.
Now, I maintain a healthy weight and help others break free from weight struggles. My mission is to guide people towards a balanced relationship with food, optimal hormonal balance, and improved gut health, leading to a thriving life.
